A fragrance-free shampoo for dry, sensitive or easily irritated skin. It is built around an NMF complex, the same group of moisturising ingredients skin uses naturally to stay hydrated.

Ingredients that make the difference
• NMF complex (lactic acid, urea, serine, sorbitol): helps restore the skin's own moisture
• Black oat extract: soothes sensitive skin
• Bisabolol and allantoin: calm and comfort the skin
• Panthenol (vitamin B5): supports the moisture barrier
• Soy protein and rice amino acids: condition the coat

What you'll notice
Skin feels comfortable after the bath, and with regular use there's less dryness and flaking. The coat is left soft, with no scent behind.

Good to know
For dogs and cats with sensitive skin, and for puppies and kittens from birth. Pair it with the MedExpert Hypoallergenic Conditioner. Concentrated, so you can dilute it up to 1:5 with water.

Good for Goldendoodles.

I’ve been using this shampoo on my Goldendoodle, and it’s been good so far. His curly coat tends to mat really easily, but after using this shampoo, her fur is noticeably softer, more manageable, and less prone to tangles. I love that it’s fragrance free and hypoallergenic, it didn’t cause my dog any redness or irritation at all. The shampoo lathers well, rinses out easily, and leaves his coat feeling hydrated without any greasy residue. I also appreciate the 350ml size, it lasts a long time, which makes it great value. The pump bottle is convenient when your hands are all wet. It’s a cruelty free product which is very important to me. It is also vet recommended. Overall, this shampoo is good quality and has made grooming a good experience for both me and my dog. Would recommend for curly haired breeds or pets that can get irritation from harsher products.

Having recently discovered the wonderful Barkin & Meowson product range, I was excited to receive this fabulous Hypoallergenic Intensive Hydration Shampoo which is fragrance free & PH balanced. Our little Chocolate Chi’ has a dry, sensitive coat which requires that little bit of extra TLC, so what could be better than a Veterinary Dermatologist Recommended Product. With a black oat extract & plant collagen formulation to gently cleanse precious sensitive skin, you just know you’re providing the very best care for your beloved fur babies. Showcasing top ingredients like urea, amino acid serine & lactic acid, this lovely shampoo provides intensive, long & deep hydration to restore the skin’s natural defences. Added to this comes allantoin, d-panthenol & bisabolol to soothe, calm & moisturise & as if that wasn’t enough, this formula is paraben & SLS free. They don’t come any better than this, so I’m very happy to recommend yet another of the amazing Barkin & Meowson range, thank you.

I recently these Barkin & Meowson Puppy Shampoo range, and I’m genuinely impressed! From the very first wash, I could tell it was formulated with puppies in mind. The shampoo has a light, pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering, and it left my puppies smelling fresh for daysWhat I love most is how gentle it is. My puppy has fairly sensitive skin, and this shampoo didn’t cause any dryness or irritation. The lather is soft and easy to rinse out, which makes bath time much quicker (and less chaotic!). After drying, my puppies coats felt incredibly soft, fluffy, and shiny.A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last quite a while. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a mild, effective shampoo that keeps their puppy clean, comfortable, and cuddly. Even those with sensitive skins.Highly recommend for new puppy parents! 🐶✨

Barkin & Meowson MedExpert Hypoallergenic Intensive Hydration Shampoo 350ml / 11.83 fl.oz.I know it seems expensive but in the broader scale of shampoos I've tried over the years it's actually not that bad in price. The pump is easy to use, it lathers up easily and rinses out easily.I my English Springer Spaniel who has reacted to "sensitive skin" shampoos in the past did not have any reaction to this shampoo at all.It has a lovely scent and left both my Springer and German Shepherds fur beautifully soft and glossy. We're really happy with it and honestly cannot find anything negative about it.

Nice to have the choice of a pump but I prefer without when you’re holding off a dirty Labrador in one hand and need shampoo in the other, I find a pump a bit of a faff. Sometimes, I water down a thicker shampoo and just pour it directly on to the dogs coat, it makes it easier to rub in this way, less product is needed and it’s easier to rinse out . Incidentally, this also makes it more cost effective. Did I mention price? Wow. More expensive than my Redken and although used less regularly there is a far higher surface area to cover on the hound.. I think it unlikely I will purchase this again. For starters I did not need the hypoallergenic element although the hydration element was appreciated. It’s a lovely product, Just not lovely enough for me. Or my hulk of a dog.

My little JRT has an all white coat, which means after nearly every outing, even just around the street, she comes back not only with dirty paws but with a dirty tummy, even with a coat that covers it and so needs a bath, usually a few times a day. I don't like to constantly use the same shampoo and as I had never seen one for a single coat dog, hers is short and single, I was really pleased to try this one and am happy to say it has now been added to my rotation of shampoos. It smells nice and my dog is happy with it, no scratching after use, sneezing or turning away as if trying to remove herself from the scent. She happily lets me use it on her. It gives nice foam that really does clean her coat - when you rinse off, you see the foam is dirty, carrying the dirt away, leaving her with a lovely clean coat. She sheds all year round, although admittedly this time of year (November) not as much as she will in warmer months, but since using this shampoo, I have noticed that she is shedding less hair than usual ( at 10 now I know how her coat acts throughout the year). Definitely a shampoo that will be used regularly from now on.Her coat actually seems slightly thicker since starting to use this shampoo and it is not her winter coat coming in, that will not happen until the weather is much colder and then it's not much thicker. It is nice to have a shampoo that is especially for her coat, just like we like to have a shampoo for our type of hair. This brand has the correct shampoo for every dog's coat, which I think is so good.

Another great shampoo from this brand. It isn't the cheapest, but I feel given that I don't wash my dogs every week this will last for ages and so gives me really good value for moeny. It's not super thin and runny like some others I have tried, it feels like a good thick shampoo. My personal preference is for something to have a long lasting nice smell, as this is hypoallergenic it quite rightly has to go light on anything that can trigger allergies, which includes fragrance, but it's not my first choice from this brand. My dogs do have slightly sensitive skin, but actually cope well with the fragranced shampoos, so don't fully need hypoallergenic shampoo it turns out. That said for any dogs who really struggle I would guess this would be a god send.

We have a pooch that loves to get all mucky and muddy during walks. Having a long haired breed means we often have to clean the pooch and have tried various different dog shampoos over the years. The smell of this shampoo is nice and helps ged rid of that typical dog smell. Will definitely make a muddy and wet pooch smell a lot better instantly. It's very easy to use, lathers very nicely and didn't cause any knots when massaging into our pooch's fur.It left the fur feeling super soft and glossy, gave it such a nice and healthy shine. It seems gentle enough for our dog's skin, our pooch had no issues or reactions with this shampoo. Definitely gets a paws up from us.

My old boy has started going bald. Apparently bulldogs just do that, go figure. I usually use a mildly medicated pet shampoo on him, but I thought a hydrating shampoo would work better on his skin to prevent any drying out now he doesn't have hair to hold the oils in.It doesn't lather a lot so it's easy to keep out of your pet's eyes. To avoid using half a bottle per wash, I mixed what I needed with water in a cup, then poured it over him. It's easier to spread around and there's less waste. Then I massaged it in with his scrubby brush and immediately washed it out. It left his fur all silky and strokable, and it feels so clean. If there was anything in it that might be harmful, he'd have had a very dramatic reaction to it by now, so I know it's safe for sensitive skin. It's more expensive than my hair stuff, but it's honestly a REALLY good shampoo. It's safe, kind to skin, and really cleans. He doesn't shower as much as I do, so this stuff should last ages. I think it's worth it, recommended.
