Hypoallergenic Dry Foam Shampoo

This foam shampoo has been a bit of a lifesaver for us. My dog absolutely hates baths, it's always a massive drama!! Being able to give him a quick refresh without the water works makes my life so much easier. It’s incredibly easy to use; you just work the foam in and you're done. There’s no fragrance at all, which I actually prefer for his sensitive skin, and it leaves his coat looking really clean and glossy and feeling soft. He does have sensitive skin and had no reaction to this (I did a patch test first!)It’s the perfect middle ground for those times when he’s not quite "muddy puddle" filthy but definitely needs a spruce up. He seemed quite happy to sit there while I rubbed it in, which is a far cry from him trying to bolt out of the tub. For any pet owner with a water-shy dog, this is definitely worth having in the cupboard for a stress-free clean.

What i love about this good quality formula is that my cat, who has sensitive skin due to an irritation which is now healing, is that she cannot shake it out like she does with spray-on liquid formulas, which she discards through shaking as easily as water.This is a thick, sticky foam which coats well on all the areaa of application. I believe it must have a slightly unpleasant taste, as she avoids licking it as much as possible. On the other hand, she does actively lick away any Vetericyn i spray onto her. Vetericyn is an incredible formula to effectively eradicate ringworm.It is yet to be decided whether the treatments from this brand would have the same effect.From our experience over the last week, this easy to apply thick formula has relieved the effects of damaged and recovering skin and alleviated itching and scratching and the taste, we presume has avoided much licking.5 stars

We have a large dog, and normally put him in the bathtub for a bath. But we moved into an old house with an awkward tub last year. The sides are too high for him to jump into easily, and he is too heavy to lift. So, we started taking him to the self-wash dog bath in town, but that isn’t convenient sometimes. I ordered this shampoo for those moments when he needs a bath but it isn’t feasible to take him into town.This shampoo comes out like foam soap, thicker than hand soap but not quite as thick as hair mousse, and quickly dissolves into his fur. It works just like a dry shampoo for humans, combines with the dirt and brushes out. I rub him with a slightly damp towel after using this, even though it doesn’t say you need to do that. Doing it that way works great for me though, and he looks and smells as clean as he does when he has a normal bath, but without the typical drying time.Overall, I am very happy with the quality and results of this shampoo. It is a fabulous option for giving our dog a fast bath. I love the scent of this too, it is kind of like a clean linen type of smell; he smells fantastic after getting a “bath” with this.

This is a great item!My Staffy is very sensitive, so I have to be careful about what products I use on him.I've used this dry shampoo a few times now and it's been great. It comes out as a foam mousse and is very easy to apply.It hasn't irritated his skin at all, and it's left his coat super soft, smooth and shiny.It doesn't contain any fragrance, as its aimed at dogs with sensitive skin. It does leave them smelling cleaner though.It's currently priced at £15.95 for 150 mls.It seems to be comparative to other Hypoallergenic products.I'm very happy to recommend to others.I've also tried some other products by this brand recently, which I'll be reviewing soon.

When one of my big dogs has been rolling in something foul in the garden and I didn’t fancy a full bath, I tried the Barkin & Meowson MedExpert Hypoallergenic Intensive Hydration No Rinse Foam Shampoo. It’s helped more than I expected. The foam format means I can use it while he sits on the patio rather than dragging him into the bath, and it leaves his coat feeling cleaner and softer.I like that it’s clearly geared for sensitive skin—his ears tend to flare up sometimes and I didn’t see any sign of irritation after use. The formula feels well thought‑out rather than a cheap after‑thought. The scent is mild and doesn’t linger like some veterinary cleansers.That said, it’s not perfect. If the coat is really dirty or muddy, this isn’t a substitute for a proper wash with water and shampoo—it’s more of a convenient interim step. Also, the bottle size (150 ml) means you might burn through it faster than you think if you have a large dog with a thick coat. For big dogs you’ll definitely need generous application.Value‑wise I feel it’s reasonable for what it is—while not exactly budget, you’re getting a nice finish and good materials. One improvement would be a pump dispenser instead of the usual flip lid, which might make it easier when dealing with a squirmy, muddy dog.In short: if you want something to help keep your dog tidy between proper baths, this is a solid choice. Just don’t expect it to replace a good old-fashioned wash when things get seriously grubby.
